PRINCE 2 Foundation & Practitioner
Course Objective

PRINCE 2® is the worlds most widely used method for managing projects; it helps you work out who should be involved and what they will be responsible for as well as giving you a set of processes to work through, explaining what information you should be gathering along the way.

This course conforms to the syllabus set down by the APM Group for those delegates wishing to gain both PRINCE 2® Foundation and Practitioner level certifications and will teach you how to:
  • Understand the structure, terminology and documents associated with PRINCE 2®
  • Clearly define roles and responsibilities of everyone involved in a project including senior managers, stakeholders and the project team
  • Understand how PRINCE 2® can be tailored to different project environments
  • Identify the key information needed to plan and control the project from initial idea through to successful delivery
  • Define how to identify and manage risks, issues and changes
This 5 day intensive course leading to the PRINCE 2® Foundation & Practitioner examinations would benefit:

  • A review of the entire method, consolidating understanding and addressing any areas of concern
  • Syndicate and individual scenario based exercises, designed to focus candidates on the application of the PRINCE 2® method
Day 5 - PRINCE 2® Foundation and Practitioner exam to take place
Accreditation Summary
PRINCE 2® FOUNDATION: PRINCE 2® PRACTITIONER:
  • Multiple-choice of 70 questions
  • Minimum of 35 marks out of 70 to pass (50%)
  • One hour duration; closed book
  • A scenario-based objective testing exam
  • Nine complex multi-choice questions
  • Minimum of 59 out of 108 required to pass (55%)
  • Two and a half hour duration; open book – only PRINCE 2® manual is allowed
